Welcome to Rivercity Tree Services, a limited liability company based in Whanganui. Formed in 2008, Rivercity Tree Services is locally owned and operated by Joe Marshall and his wife Siobhan. From humble beginnings, the business has grown from just completing small scale tree jobs to now serving a large number of sizeable organisations throughout the Whanganui, Manawatu, Rangitikei, Horowhenua and Waimarino areas. And it’s not just trees anymore either – it’s Traffic Management, Civil Construction, Earthworks, and you might even see the team on Emergency jobs helping to get roads clear during unforeseen weather accidents. The Rivercity Tree Services team has experience with a wide range of large and small scale jobs. Our previous corporate clients include large names such as Whanganui District Council, Horowhenua District Council, Downer, Department of Conservation, Ruapehu District Council, Higgins Contractors and Horizons Regional Council to name a few. Of course, Joe is still doing private/domestic jobs but at the moment you’ll more often than not see him trimming trees on busy roads to improve visibility and safety for motorists. No job is too big or too small, so from that small shrub right up to that massive tree on the side of the road requiring a traffic management set up; we can get the job done for you.
